Summary/Objective Business Development Associate (BDA) - Is the group you will be hired into for comprehensive and enhanced sales training specific to VFI and the Leasing industry. The BDA training program is a 30 to 120 day training program which includes 4 to 6 weeks of classroom training and workshop activities. This position is for someone who is looking to experience inside sales in the leasing industry for the first time or simply enhance their leasing sales experience and be trained in great detail on how to become a successful Business Development Officer (BDO) at VFI. Once you meet specific performance criteria you will graduate to our BDO program. The timeline is dependent on a mutually beneficial fit, meeting the training performance metrics and criteria. The starting Salary is $65,000.00. Once you Graduate from the BDA Program: The Business Development Officer Position offers two options for compensation: $45,000 base with 10% uncapped commission and additional bonus' or $65,000 base with 5% uncapped commission. You may annually elect your options year over year. We build in performance bonusA cents € (TM) to aid in the learning curve or 'ramp up' period. Our top BDO's and SBDO's are expected to earn six figures a year. If you are a self driven highly motivated individual, working at VFI is a life changing experience. You will directly contact C-Level Executives to learn of projects and equipment leasing / financing opportunities You will take part in the entire sales cycle from the initial cold call to the completion of the sale and everything in between. You will learn the ins and outs of the leasing industry and why VFI is the best in the industry! You will build lasting relationships with C-Level Executives and gain valuable knowledge from this great experience Strong experience in cold calling, specifically to C-Level Executives in a B2B environment. Must be willing to perform the necessary steps to engage in lucrative cold calling measures and connection with C-Level Executives regarding current or future projects Must be familiar with a longer sales cycle and have a comfortable range of experience in managing through the process Required Education and Experience Self drive, motivation and autonomy of own successful proven track record Financial acumen and strong business acumen are a top priority and a much needed skill in order to reap the successes Ability and willingness to communicate and negotiate with corporate decision makers Professional demeanor A cents € " in both appearance and communication presence College degree A cents € " preferably in related field such as Finance, Communications, Business At least 2 years of cold calling experience with responsibilities in B2B sales to the C-Level Suite Financial services / sales experience a plus. Experience with Google, Salesforce, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Preferred Education and Experience Salesforce Experience Sales experience Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full time position working a minimum of 40 hours per week. Schedule is dependent on team assignment.
