### Responsibilities
The incumbent of this position serves as the Chief, Property and Sustainability Services Group of the Program Management Division of the Upper Colorado (UC) Regional Office, directing and supervising the functions of the group. Other duties include:
Program responsibility for providing technical and administrative oversight and direction for the development, execution, and coordination of Facilities Management, Property Management, Vehicle and Heavy Equipment Program, Space Management, Sustainability and Environmental Management System Program, Energy Conservation Program and other functions of the group.
Program responsibility for the administration of Regional Office facilities functions to include acquisition, management, operations, maintenance, construction and disposal of real property facilities.

Occasional travel - Occasional travel for training and meetings, with some overnight stays.

**Time-in-Grade:** Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).

### Qualifications
**Specialized experience** is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. **For the GS-12** level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-11 level of the position in the Federal service. Qualifying experience must have included experience in 3 or more of the following areas: real property; fleet management; personnel property; space management; sustainability program; identification and analysis of problems; directing the work of others; conflict management and mediation; or team building.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
