Location State: Utah Location City: Sandy This at-will position will oversee marketing, graphic design, and web personnel to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Real Salt Lake, Rio Tinto Stadium including advertising, graphic design, promotions, community relations and grassroots marketing. Work with department’s organization-wide to manage and grow each of these brands. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : The following list of functions is descriptive of the work to be performed but it should not be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, functions or tasks that the job may require. Maximize awareness through marketing strategies, implementing guerilla marketing and advertising campaigns to generate measurable exposure; providing vision and guidance to Marketing Department to develop clear strategies to meet ticket sales targets. Provide leadership to identify, prioritize, create and execute plans to increase market share and brand awareness. Plan, negotiate, and secure advertising contracts and oversee implementation: to include paid TV, radio, online, and outdoor advertising, and explore non- traditional/guerilla marketing opportunities. Manage communication with media partners, promoters, and corporate partners to maintain cooperative, cross-promotional opportunities, working in conjunction with ticket sales and sponsorship to support and promote revenue programs. Leads the creative process to ensure campaign and brand consistency across all platforms to realize increased fan growth. Oversee the development of all collateral, including fliers, newsletters, websites, posters, postcards and email blasts and oversee the distribution of these items. Manage and mentor members of the Marketing Department. Develop, monitor and evaluate annual marketing budget, supervising spending to meet P&L goals.
