* The Associate Analyst supports the Evaluation Department team with the completion of reports according to work plans and schedules, and leverages subject-matter expertise in their creation.

* The Associate Analyst demonstrates competencies while performing a variety of routine or standardized tasks, or tasks of limited scope.

* The Associate Analyst formats and delivers accurate data, and may expand on prescribed programs with help from supervisor/manager, which will enable leadership to make excellent business decisions, as well as enable employees to better serve student needs and ensure student success.

* The Associate Analyst creates and distributes predefined reports that inform and educate Evaluation personnel to support objectives, but then expands on the reports, with support from supervisor/manager, as needs arise.


* The Associate Analyst typically works on reports of limited complexity applying standard policies, practices, and procedures in the normal course of work and in the analysis and resolution of issues.

* The Associate Analyst must demonstrate attention to detail, data cleansing, and data accuracy with help or correction from supervisor/manager.

* The Associate Analyst must demonstrate accuracy in reporting, planning time in task, and communication with supervisor/manager; adaptability and flexibility as situations change frequently; and reliability in accomplishing tasks on time.

* The Associate Analyst must work with supervisor/manager to plan, organize, and monitor projects through completion and fluidly manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a high-pressure environment.

* The Associate Analyst collaborates within the team and works to support the needs of the QA team.


* The Associate Analyst conducts work that is important to the Student experience and Student success through the provision of reports that highlight department performance.

* The Associate Analyst contributes collectively toward achieving department and team objectives to be accurate, fair, helpful, and quick, while contributing to an environment that is a great place to work.

* Tasks will most likely relate to reports to support the Evaluation Department operations as directed by the supervisor/manager.


* With direction and interaction from their immediate supervisor/manager, the Associate Analyst is self-managed within the context of assigned reports.

* The Associate Analyst may be asked to exercise independent judgement within stated parameters on assigned reports and works with their team and their supervisor/manager on matters outside of established work plans and/or schedule.

* The Associate Analyst drives quality through design, development, testing, and ongoing performance monitoring, both independently and through team and supervisor/manager collaboration.

* The Associate Analyst ensures projects meet technical specifications and customer requirements as guided by supervisor/manager.

* The Associate Analyst evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and identifies conflicts within the data, but works with others on the team and/or supervisor/manager to reconcile the conflicts.

Required Skills

* Ability to understand the needs and execute reports in a timely manner.

* Strong oral and written communication skills.

* Solid technical and problem solving skills.

* Creative, good-natured, and passionate about data and its support/guidance for the WGU mission.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 or Office 365.

Required Experience

* Bachelor's degree preferred.
