We partner with key manufacturers to produce crucial components, systems and subsystems required to help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs.

Based in Park City, UT, Triumph employs approximately 200 personnel. The Company's key products and services include manufacturing, test and assembly of complete transmission and gearbox assemblies as well as complex gears and housings. Our design engineering group can specify and design any gear application, from simple build-to-print work to collaboratively engineer, highly specialized applications.

We are currently seeking an experienced a Director of Operations whose primary responsibilities are to maintain a safe working environment and to achieve overall business objectives including: quality, delivery, productivity, and lean directives. In this function the Director will need to be part of creating, communicating, supporting, and owning the vision and goals of the business.


* Work with GM/President and Key Managers to focus on 4 key imperatives -

* Safety: Focusing on leading indicators and concern reporting to drive a no injury culture.

* Quality: All products are completed the right way the first time, every time

* Speed: Innovation, Customer Engagement, Response, and Decision Making

* Productivity: Process efficiency, Cost Reduction and Continuous Improvement

* Fostering a positive employee relations environment through building a culture where employees are motivated and actively engaged in driving continuous improvement in the business.

* Championing lean manufacturing initiatives in a manner that will support continued cost reductions, waste reductions, process automation, quality improvements, and on-time delivery.

* Managing business to achieve/exceed revenue, and operating income objectives. Ensuring products meet Operations' profitability goals.

* Acting as a coach, mentor, and role model for his or her direct reports, as well as the Company's ethics and values; maintaining the highest corporate governance principles.

* Collaboratively working with the leadership team to establish a future state road map that will be used for capital, labor, and facility requirements.

* Planning and executing expansion of facilities to meet future manufacturing requirements.

* Directly and indirectly working with customer to understand requirements and expectations.

* Ensuring that products are delivered on-time to customers and that products meet all customer expectations regarding quality and performance.

* Working proactively with and effectively engaging functional counterparts to ensure overall organizational success.

* Establishing performance metrics, standards, and measurements for direct reports and the operation as a whole. Regularly monitoring their performance through timely performance reviews to create/enhance operational efficiencies and improve performance and productivity.

* Providing leadership and setting clarity of direction to the Operations organization. Creating and communicating a vision for the operation. Developing and executing the Operations' strategic plans. Assigning responsibilities for tasks and results; setting clear goals and objectives. Monitoring and measuring performance to plan. Delivering timely, objective, and actionable feedback on performance to plan. Training, developing, and mentoring reporting personnel to provide promotable candidates for Triumph Inc.


* BA/BS degree or 8 -10 years' experience in management position

* Proven leader with ability to motivate teams and drive accountability in a manufacturing enviroment, aerospace a plus.

* Knowledge/experience with ISO9001:2001

* Knowledge/experience with AS9100, AS 9102

* Knowledge/experience in SPC

* Aerospace experience preferred
