Development Intern
New Page Human Rights

Job Description

Reporting to and in partnership with the Board of Directors, the Development Intern will spearhead development efforts as New Page Human Rights continues to grow. A new position in the organization, the Development Intern will have the opportunity to build the development function.


-Develop and execute New Page Human Rights annual fundraising plan
-Secure financial support from individuals, government grants, foundations and corporations
-Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
-Help organize special events


Some college required, BA (a plus)
Experience in fundraising and grant writing preferred
Demonstrated excellence in computer skills, social media marketing, and communication skills

Additional Information

The mission of New Page Human Rights is to help asylum seekers, asylees, and victims of war find resources to rebuild their lives. The specific objectives of New Page Human Rights include:

-Securing quality healthcare, food, and mental health services to promote the health, dignity and resiliency of our clients.
-Advocating for and defending the human rights of asylum seekers, asylees, and victims of war.
-Providing holistic services to help clients become productive, engaged members of the community.

We are looking for at least two interns for the Fall semester. Preferably someone with fundraising or grant writing experience. There is a $500/per semester stipend. We would require 10 hours minimum per week. Interns may be able to work remotely.
