The primary responsibility of the Park City Associate Director of Sales is the overall achievement of the group room nights and revenue budget, along with the line of business goals and sales managers individual pace goals. This leadership position will help support the Group Sales team in all aspects of closing group sales. This position will work closely with the Director of Sales, and will be required to have close communications with the Director of Sales reporting on group trends, key strategies, booking goals, and weekly sales activity including definites, tentatives, and strong prospects.
:Working with the Director of Sales, provide leadership and direction to the Park City sales managers to grow and drive group business for Park City in line with the priorities and overall segment strategies.
:Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, provide leadership to the Group Sales team to help them achieve all revenue goals.
:Strong understanding of Park Citys primary target:customer to generate better business solutions; provide customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
:Assist the Director of Sales in deployment of the Group Sales team against the most profitable customer, group segments, top accounts, and new accounts.
:Work closely with the National Sales team for successful execution of the sales strategy relating to the room night, revenue, and overall line of business goals.
:Focus on leading the team in prospecting for new business and tracking new accounts.
:Assist Director of Sales in contract approval and business evaluation in accordance with Revenue Management and key stakeholders.
:Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, serve as a group sales liaison with key departments such as Revenue Management, Conference Services, National Sales, Strategic Alliance, Mountain Operations, Rentals, and other internal customers as appropriate.
:Continue to perform all duties as required of a Group Sales Manager including meeting annual booking, line of business, and performance goals.
:Specifically oversee the Small Meeting and Wholesale Sales managers.
:Focus on Park City DoubleTree pace, rates, and administrative support.
:Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales to provide career development leading toward a Director of Sales role while continuing to produce revenue room nights and line of business production for the organization.
:Bachelors degree or at least 5 years of previous hospitality sales experience : required.
:Minimum 7 years of previous experience in hotel or service industry : required.
:Proficient in Microsoft Office, Delphi, On:Q : preferred.
:English proficiency, and excellent written and verbal skills : required.
:Ability to work flexible hours : required.
