Working in a team environment reporting to a District Sales Manager/General Sales Manager. The Media Consultant is responsible for selling Internet Advertising and all of YP Holdings/Digital Regions products and services via visiting customer premises and will be occasionally be required to report to a designated location for Training/Meetings
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

: Meeting and exceeding aggressive sales goals and overall objectives. You are measured by sales contacts per day and revenue generated, monthly, quarterly, and/or annually.
: Demonstrating the value of YP Holdings/Digital Regions advertising to new and existing customers. Through face:to:face contact you will service existing clients, sell new programs, protect and increase existing advertising, and minimize decreases and cancellations.
: Responsible for developing sales strategies prior to contacting designated markets, using a variety of visuals, including Internet layouts and other sales aids. Formulate client advertising recommendations, which are specifically designed to meet customer needs and objectives.
: Must drive to customer locations regularly and routinely to make sales presentations and provide customer service.
: Handling an aggressive schedule of daily sales contacts. Schedule, organize, and prioritize work to meet both customer and company goals and deadlines. Accuracy and organization are critical to success.
: Visit client business locations to obtain critical information about client markets and challenges. Present the benefits associated with YP Holdings/Digital Regions advertising programs, along with their intended results .Prepares forms and letters, handles detailed paperwork and executes contracts. Prepares necessary paperwork for publishing and billing the advertisement.
: Job is non:routine and requires flexibility to switch back and forth from handling customer calls to detailed paperwork, etc.
: May handle customer complaints/inquiries regarding advertising programs consistent with company practices and procedures.
: Other duties as assigned.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

: Excellent computer and communications skills.
: Ability to build rapport with team regardless of physical location.
: Ability to manage work:related projects and market assignments.
: Intermediate to proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel and internet navigation are required
: Valid Drivers License.
Must be computer literate and be receptive to becoming as proficient as possible with new internal software programs as needed by the business.
Bachelors degree preferred, with 3:5 years+ of professional business:to:business outside sales experience.
