Job Description:/h3:
Responsible for overall performance, stability, and availability of internally developed software systems. Relies on experience and judgment to perform upgrades, software patch installation, administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of system components supporting internally developed software. Monitor application usage, volumes, and system responsiveness through tracking system performance metrics and comparing to benchmarks. Is familiar with software and service infrastructure and supports the implementation of standards and practices. Provides guidance for junior staff. Works under general supervision with latitude for creativity and independent judgment.
Minimum Requirements:
:Associates Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering, or a High school diploma or equivalent and four years of paid, relevant IT work experience
:4 years of experience in system administration, database administration, software development, or production software operations support, or equivalent work experience
:2 years of experience using an enterprise database platform
:2 years of experience using Microsoft Windows Servers and network services
:Knowledge of software management tools and practices
:Knowledge of service oriented architecture
Physical and Other Requirements:
:Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
:Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
:Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
:Communicate: Frequently communicate with others.
:PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.
:ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.
:Authorized to Work: Must be a citizen of the United States or authorized to work in the United States.
:Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Company Description:/h3:
