Position Description
The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Systems Directorate (ICBMSD) located at Hill Air Force Base has the collective Air Force mission responsibility for the development, deployment, maintenance and sustainment of the ICBM Force. The Minuteman III (MMIII) ICBM is a mature weapon system that is in the Operation and Support Phase of its life cycle. The ADSR program is an ACAT III replacement program that is an intricate part of the current operational capabilities in the Minuteman III weapon system and will play a vital role in supporting asset availability for Booster and Propulsion System Rocket Engine (PSRE) Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM). Additional engineering analysis and program management support is required to ensure the utmost accuracy and resource availability through design and research analysis. This includes technical document reviews, white paper analysis, technical writing and interpretation, and various other program and assistance support duties.
Specific tasks you will perform:
:Providing program management, logistics, and financial/budget support
:Assisting the PM with the acquisition program planning and execution
:Assisting the ADSR PM in the day to day execution of the ADSR program including development and integration, supporting meetings, managing schedule, and overseeing activities during instances when the government PM is not available
:Independently serving as a focal point for multiple assigned projects
:Supporting joint DoD:DOE nuclear weapon life:cycle activities in accordance with DoDI 5030.55 and DoD Directive 3150.1 as well as any other relevant U.S. law, DoD, CJCS, USAF, or other Service Component, directive, policy, instruction, or guide
:Preparing and participating in all associated technical reviews, program management reviews, meetings, working group, and work all associated actions
:Preparing acquisition documentation for associated inch stones and milestones and working all associated actions
:Assist with program schedule management, program risk management, strategic planning, quality assurance, logistics planning, business and financial management, data management, trade studies, and technical studies
Minimum Experience Required:
:SECRET security clearance
:Knowledge of the acquisition process IAW DoD 5000.2, to include but not limited to, program schedules and phases, entrance/exit criteria, acquisition documentation, program requirements, technical development strategy, and acquisition strategy
:Experience directly managing contracted workloads with emphasis on engineering design, modification, production, and sustainment of
electronic/electromechanical components
:Familiarity with earned value management, risk management, resource planning, contracts, and government cost and accounting systems
:Working knowledge of common project management tools to include Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Monte Carlo or a similar schedule analysis program
:Knowledge of business management, engineering management, project management, logistics management, or production management
Preferred Experience:
:4:10 years of experience in direct program management, project technical management and/or system analyst support
Preferred Education:
:BA or BS in business management, logistics, or a similar discipline Company Description
