Job Description Our client, a global manufacturing and technology leader with multiple office locations throughout North America, is seeking a senior leader in project management and financial analytics at the Salt Lake City headquarter office. This person will drive improvement in both process and performance, and will work cross-functionally in departments including finance, operations, engineering and IT, by analyzing and allocating funds to various global projects and enforcing budget limitations. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Financial Analyst: Provide strategic recommendations/ analysis to management and senior business executives based on complex financial analysis and projections, budgetary restrictions, cost identification and allocation Ensure compliance with applicable company-wide performance standards, as well as both domestic and international regulations Implement or improve internal tools through change management for accurate business and financial analysis (process improvement and business excellence). Oversee budget, inventory costs and financial strategies and make sound recommendations to determine new opportunities and cost savings Assist with internal audit of compliance to project management procedures Requirements of the Senior Financial Analyst: Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of Finance and Accounting experience, preferably in a global manufacturing or technology environment Public accounting experience strongly preferred (Big 4) Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills are essential.
